What Climo Disc Golf say: Climo Champ [ 2/3/0/0 ]

Climo Champ (Trophy Line) First Run
The Climo Champ has an almost identical profile to the venerable Innova Yeti Pro Aviar, and the exact same depth, but without the Yeti's concave flight plate.
Champ's flight plate is dead flat, and quite firm - with Yeti Pro plastic being very similar in feel and stiffness. The disc is nowhere near KC Pro's level of board-hard.
Climo DG say it has a microbead, but it's the largest microbead ever made. We'd go so far as to say Big-Beaded - just like the old Big Bead Aviars Kenny used to rock in the late 90s.
Flight shape is almost true to the [2 3 0 0] numbers, albeit that ALL discs fade if they stay in the air long enough. The heavy spin applied by top throwers will keep this thing as straight as the day is long.
As with all putters, the glide number is wrong. Putters have great glide, and this is no exception. It's a 5.
Trophy Line plastic is a stiff base plastic, but yields a little in the hand if gripped hard. It has an almost moist chalky feeling in the hand. It has loads of grip when dry, and when damp still offers almost the same grip! It will beat in over time to become slightly flippy as it ages.
