The Colossus is a max distance driver with predictable high speed turn and reliable fade. Although it has a wide rim, it is also relatively easy to hold and throw both backhand and forehand. If you've wanted to throw a really fast driver, but couldn't quite handle the wide rim, try the Colossus.
Innova Colossus (Star)
We've heard great things about this disc. That it's a speed 14 disc which can be thrown by non-speed-14 arms! With Negative 1 turn rating, you can expect the Colossus to flip up nicely for you, climb a little, and in any kind of headwind, it should continue over into a long anhyzer glide phase, before fading hard to finish.
Controlling the height of the shot will be the biggest challenge when using this disc, as you will need to air it out, to prevent it becoming a roller.
Perhaps the biggest question is "Can I actually grip this 25mm rim properly?" Colossus is perhaps the fastest disc you will ever throw, but smaller will have a bit of trouble getting a proper grip on it.In case you are dissatisfied with your purchase we will happily refund or exchange if unused.
