ABOUT THESE VERY RARE LIGHWEIGHT DISCS:

Waaaay back in 2002, when Innova still held a (completely bogus) patent for the "Bevelled Edge Flying Disc" (expired in 2003), and before the advent of stamping Flight Numbers on discs, Innova specially manufactured a range of golf discs for competition in Japan, where the maximum weight for discs was just 150 grams.

These now highly collectable PFN (Pre-Flight Numbers) discs were made slightly over the 150g limit, and were not suitable for export to Japan.

Not only are these genuine New Old Stock, and PFN, they also carry the Innova Patent number on the underside of the flight plate.

And so we can know for sure that these brand new discs are at least 22 years old in 2025!

  • Roc is an overstable, slightly domey, big-beaded, midrange disc, with a strong fade. It has a fairly unique feel in the hand, and those who love it would rather fight, than switch! With a slightly lower speed and glide rating than most modern midranges, Roc is easier to range correctly and will alwasy fade hard towards your target landing area.

In DX plastic, the disc will wear in very rapidly, with just one heavy tree hit liable to alter its fligth shape. If you want a Roc to rapidly straighten out, reduce its fade, and even to start flipping over, then DX is the plastic for you.

Extremely easy to grip in all conditions, DX isn't the best plastic if you want a disc to stay true to its original flight shape for a long time. Try it in Star or - if you need maximum stability in a Roc, Champion plastic.

    Flight Rating: 4 4 0 3
