Just The Tip! No.2 – Keeping the nose down

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

Vortica keeps it short and sweet. Just the tip. That’s all.

We swear!

Before you reach back in the throwing motion, create your Plane Of Play, and set your disc hyzer and nose angle.

Wrist and hand motion

Push your thumb down on top of the disc, and push your disc down with your wrist to its maximum deflection in ulnar deviation (right).

This is the same motion you make when turning your wrist downward to engage in a handshake. This keeps your disc on the Plane Of Play.

If you are especially flexible, you might not have to use maximum ulnar deviation.

Much more detailed information can be found here and here.
