Double World Champion Sarah Wadsworth joins Vortica Disc Golf
When I first met 6-year-old Sarah and her dad Paul in December 2022, this writer was mind-boggled by her disc golf potential. Though too young to sponsor, I gifted her a small disc golf bag and lightweight discs for Christmas.
Paul and Sarah quickly embraced disc golf. With Paul's athletic background and coaching experience, they progressed rapidly using the "Spin & Throw" technique.
After Sarah's recent departure from Dynamic Discs, she became a free agent, allowing Vortica Disc Golf to offer her support as she continues her rise in the sport and the game. Sarah, the highest-rated 9-year-old female disc golfer of all time, is already a two-time World Champion and a triple world distance record holder. Her next goal is to compete in a Disc Golf Pro Tour event as the youngest player in history.
Sarah's positivity, humility, love for the game, and media presence make her a perfect fit for Vortica. Coached by her dad Paul, she is set for a bright future in disc golf, combining sporting excellence and social media influence.
